Above: "Amber" gigged at the Thunderbird Valley Inn (Massive bar) regularly on saturday afternoons 1970 - 1971- 1972 - The Thunderbird Valley Inn Glenfield was demolished in 1994 despite other sites saying year 2000!.

Above: Masonic Tavern Devonport where Amber worked regularly 1970 to 1973 in the upstairs lounge, where the publicans wife (Mrs Lola Dryland) sat on a bar stool by the door and would signal us if we were getting too loud, Lola was a friendly person and chatted to us during breaks with many a great little yarn. The bar was always packed Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Sadly Lola Dryland passed away 28 August 2019
Since 2016 The Masonic Tavern is no longer the happy fun place of old!. One of New Zealand's oldest buildings The Masonic Tavern Devonport has been turned into apartments and a cafe.
