Peter Morely -Very popular soloist from Wales 1978 - 1979 playing a good range of pop hits mostly Beatles, Stones ect. - Peter Morely and many other acts from UK, USA, Philippines signed a six monthly renewable contract with Lion Breweries NZ Limited back in the late 1970s through the 1980`s.
Peter`s FB fans comments: "There was a bar at the bottom of the Great Western called the lion's den used to get there to watch the last hour of pete Morleys set, He used to play an Eco 6 String he could get just about every sound out of that guitar you could think of and would make it sound like a 4 piece band ,Inspired me to learn to the guitar and my first guitar was yes you've guessed it an Eco. Purchased from the second-hand shop grimwades in canton, " long Gone Now" Think I paid about £20 for it!......."Knowledgeable phew!, is there anything he cannot play and remember the words."
