About The the "RAOB Hall" The hall was originally used by "The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes" (RAOB).
The hall was purchased by "The Birkenhead Returned Services Club" in 1934, becoming the location for their club and AGM in the same year.
The hall was located in Highbury, where a new shopping centre was planned in 1968. "The Birkenhead Returned Services Club" eventually built new premises at the War Memorial Park.
The RAOB Hall was a long-standing part of Highbury's community, serving as the home for the Returned Services Club room for many years before being replaced.
