"East Coast Rhythm Section" This band was based in Waihi and played hotels in the Bay of Plenty, Coromandle and Waikato regions. The "East Coast Rhythm Section" also had a resident gig at The Golden Cross Hotel in Waihi early 1990. The band was formed by members from "Shaft" - "Should Be Band" - "Seagull Rock ' and "Trax".
